I’m Vrinda, and I started EcoThreads after seeing how thousands of perfectly usable school uniforms were being discarded simply because they couldn’t be reused. What began as a simple question—“why is this waste happening?”—turned into a mission to redesign how uniforms are recovered, repurposed, and redistributed at scale.

I’m Nitya, a student who believes small actions can drive big changes. That’s why I co-founded EcoThreads—to turn forgotten school uniforms into something meaningful. I focus on making sure every uniform we recover actually reaches someone who needs it.
